Welcome to Markeygate Cottages in Tideswell

Located in the village of Tideswell in the very heart of the Peak District National Park, Markeygate Cottages are 'two very special' cottages as featured in Peak District Life Magazine. Beautifully restored Grade II listed, the cottages have been individually designed with attention to detail with all modern amenities. The cottages feature original oak beams, log fires and a private courtyard with plenty of garage space to store bikes etc. The cottages are located in the centre of the village and set back in a very quiet courtyard with privacy and an area outside to relax in.

We have been trading for over 13 years and welcome back many, many guests year on year. So whether you want a bolt home to 'chill out' from the stress of modern day living or intend to exploring the peak district with long walks we are an ideal location. Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are very close by and you can easily leave the car in the village and walk/cycle from the cottages.

Both the cottages are inspected by the English Tourist Board and have a 4 star rating.
